Let’s make our homes cosy this winter!

When the colder months arrive and Christmas gets near, we all want to make our homes cosier and more comfortable. Decorating for the cold season is always fun, and without going all out on Christmas decorations yet, there are a few things you can do to make your home cosy and welcoming this November. Here are four ways you can decorate your home that you may have not thought about yet!

🖼️ Create a seasonal wall display with PosterStore

Setting up a wall art gallery at home is an amazing way to have a personalised decor in any room of your home. And you can do this with PosterStore!
I was lucky to work with PosterStore previously and absolutely loved their products. PosterStore offers a wide range of high-quality posters, printed on sustainable paper. You can pick from various sizes, to create an aesthetically-pleasing gallery at home. For the winter season, you should check their new arrivals selection – full of snowy landscapes, Christmas flowers and cute illustrations! PosterStore comes out with a new collection every Tuesday, also making it perfect for last-minute gifts – there’s plenty of awesome posters to choose from!
To decorate your home for the festive season, I recommend using their golden frames to frame the posters, like I’ve done in my home.
To create your own wall art gallery at home, and especially for Black Friday & Black Week, I’ve got an exciting discount for you!! 55% off your PosterStore order, with the code JULIA55.
The discount code is valid on all posters except selection posters and frames. It is not combinable with other discount campaigns, and valid from November 22 to November 29.
I highly recommend PosterStore for amazing quality and affordable prints – and great customer service too!

✨ Use fairy lights to warm up your home

I love fairy lights. They’re an easy way to give your home that special cosy touch. There are several ways in which you can use fairy lights at home. Of course you can put them up on your Christmas tree, but here are other ways to decorate with fairy lights:
– Hang them on your window so they can be seen all lit up from the outside
– Put them around your bed for an awesome cosy evening reading or watching Netflix
– Put fairy lights in a jar, to use as a piece of decor you can move around the house: on your bedside table, on the dining table, on your desk while you work…
– In the kitchen, lay down a short fairy light gardland on the counter to create a festive baking station, or near your coffee machine for a cute coffee-making area!

🌲 Pick up some natural decor outside to bring into your home

I love being out in nature, so of course nature inspires me for interior decor too! In autumn and winter, you can pick up autumn leaves, pine cones and pine branches to decorate your home. I also usually buy small pumpkins to decorate my room.
I love the idea of setting up an autumnal wall by taping some autumn leaves to a wall or above the bed.
You can also pick up some pine cones, clean them properly, and put them in a jar (or a wide and tall candle holder) along with your fairy lights. If you want to go all out, pine cones and chestnuts can be used for cute table decor for Thanksgiving or Christmas!
